The doc, Muscles, tried to sell me a moustrap for 4 replicator credits.
I told him mice don't exist. He told me I was foolish and a danger to the ship.
He smelled like molten metal, and his eyebrows were singed.
I'm worried about him.

Happy Earthic New Year!
It is my unfortunate duty to continue to inform you that Episode One of the adventures of the Starship Jupiter's Ghost is now available.
The captain promised that I would only have to bang this drum for a few more days, but I have my suspicions that this is just my Job now.
This episode details our encounter with an 800 year old Generation Ship, and the discovery of a mouse on the ship.
You can listen to it embedded here, probably, or on the website linked from the embed, probably, unless I broke something which is possible.
It's chewing gum and bailing wire all the way down when you're the crew of a 40 year old Starcruiser on the edges of a crumbling intergalactic empire.

@florian Hi! You followed me. I'm on a pretty small instance and looking to build out the FTL. Would it be acceptable for me to follow you back?
Oh wow! It's New Year's Day on earth.
I've never been to earth. I hear it's nice, or at least it used to be before climate change destroyed it.
Birmingham, the chief engineer and self proclaimed King of the Earth Nerds (he's a Verbenubi, they're really proud of their Old Earth knowledge) had a "Movie" marathon, where him and me and a couple of other crewpeople gathered around a Holoscreen to watch these kind of ... Flat? Low fidelity projections.
Last night we watched something called Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, followed by something called Ground Hogday
It was An Experience.
I'm James Andrews. I'm the record keeper on the starship #JupitersGhost
I'm a former member of the Space Patrol and I'm trying to make up for it, but years of service to the crumbling solar federation have left me a little cynical.
I love #scifi movies and hanging out and watching old "movies" with my friend Birmingham Irish (he's a verbenubi, and Reaaaly in to ancient science fiction. He's also the chief engineer on the ship, and the one that talked me in to joining the Space Corps.) He's been trying to get me to watch something called #startrek, but I don't think it's for me.
